Savary Island Fun Triathalon

The Savary Island Fun Triathlon returns on Sunday, July 19, inviting participants of all ages and abilities to experience one of the region’s most unique community sporting events. Set against the stunning backdrop of Savary Island, the course includes a swim, bike ride, and run that showcase the island’s beaches, forests, and scenic roads. Individuals can compete solo or join a relay team, with age-appropriate distances available for younger participants.

Designed to be inclusive and welcoming, the event offers both competitive and recreational categories—including the option to walk or wade through the swim portion instead of swimming. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on participants at the wharf, along the course, and at the Firehall finish line, where the community comes together to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments. Proceeds support the Savary Island Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders.
