The Capilano sank in the fall of 1915 off the coast of Savary Island. 1971 Richard McIntosh and the late Bob Briggs discovered the wreck during a dive. Almost 100 years after the vessel sank\, many items from the ship were donated to the qathet Museum & Archives and are currently on display.
