DESCRIPTION:The Powell River Farmers Market is a community-run open-air market featuring fresh\, locally grown food and handmade goods from regional producers and artisans. Visitors can find seasonal vegetables and fruit\, farm-fresh eggs\, baking\, honey\, preserves\, pickles\, pies\, and other locally made specialties\, along with unique items from local craftspeople. \n\n\n\nThe market supports local agriculture\, sustainable growing practices\, and the humane treatment of animals. It was created and built by its members and continues to focus on strengthening the local food community. \n\n\n\nMarket HoursSundays year-round: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pmSaturdays (May–September): 10:30 am – 12:30 pm \n\n\n\nPlease bring reusable bags for your purchases.
