The Invite

The Invite

A couples’ dinner takes a turn in The Invite, a sharp new comedy-drama starring Olivia Wilde, Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton.

What starts as dinner between two couples quickly becomes something much more complicated as conversations about sex, marriage, relationships and partner-swapping push everyone out of their comfort zones.

Directed by Olivia Wilde, The Invite is funny, stylish and a little messy in all the right ways.

Green Valley Screening

July 8 @ 7:00 pm

Filmed over the course of two years, entirely off-the-grid by long-time farm resident Morgan Tams, Green Valley is an intimate and authentic portrait of a community on the fringes – told by one of their own. “A thoughtful, tender ode to the beauty and the reality of ‘going back to the land’ that makes you think about our impact on the earth and our relationship to all that sustains us…. a very strong film with peace and ethics and an underlying hopefulness about our ability to adapt our way of life to something else – which is deeply needed at this time…. a profound accomplishment.” Lisa Jackson, Filmmaker

Film Screening of “FAIRY CREEK”

May 13 @ 7:00 pm

Film Screening of the award-winning documentary “FAIRY CREEK”.

Wed May 13th at 7:00PM

Tickets: $10-$12 https://www.showpass.com/fairy-creek-may-13-2026/

Screening will be followed by a Q&A discussion with director, Jen Muranetz.

FAIRY CREEK is a gripping frontline dive into the lives of activists urgently blocking logging roads on Vancouver Island, Canada, in a last-ditch attempt to stop old-growth logging in the pristine Fairy Creek valley. When police begin arresting people for standing in the way of forestry workers, thousands more protestors flock to the woods to participate in a dramatic and historic stand-off now recognized as Canada’s largest act of civil disobedience. Following a cast of blockaders, Indigenous land defenders and loggers, the film takes an insider look at the rise and fall of the contentious Fairy Creek blockade, creating a searing portrait of contemporary environmental activism.
