The Central Farmers’ Market is a weekly recurring event at Willingdon Beach (old arena site) every Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Over 20 local vendors each week selling produce, ready-to-eat food, crafts, and more. Free to the public, accessible by bike, car, bus, or foot. Dogs welcome.

Mark your calendar for PRISMA on the Beach — a free outdoor concert featuring the full 90-piece PRISMA Festival Orchestra, led by conductor Arthur Arnold, live at Willingdon Beach in Powell River.
This family-friendly event brings the magic of symphonic music to the shoreline, showcasing highlights from PRISMA’s 2025 repertoire. Hear a powerful mix of orchestral classics, plus a dramatic musical tribute to the blockbuster film Wicked, performed by a global roster of rising young musicians and guest artists.
More than just a concert, this is an evening out. The beach will be buzzing with food trucks and craft vendors, so come with an appetite and enjoy dinner and a show.
Bring your blanket or lawn chair, stake out a good spot, and settle in for an unforgettable night of music under the open sky.
No tickets required — everyone’s welcome.
